Junior Character Texture Artist

Responsibilities

  • Texturing of 3D characters and props based on instructions, in a style that’s appropriate to the project’s requirements, and according to the project’s technical specifications.

 

Requirements

  • Experience in fine arts, technical and theoretical knowledge needed (drawing, painting, shape, light/shadow, color theory, composition, etc)
  • Good eye for detail, good visual analytical skills
  • Must be able to work creatively in a self-directed manner
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Good working knowledge of Maxon Body Paint
  • Portfolio of texturing works

 

Pluses

  • Education in fine arts and/or professional training
  • Knowledge of 3D shading
  • Good working knowledge of Mari, Mudbox and/or Pixologic Zbrush
  • Previous experience in CG or in movie making
  • Experience in texturing
